Our displays are trying to show how men at arms would have fought on a battlefield. Some moves are choreographed, whereas others are reactions to blows. Our predetermined goal is to provide a mix between the forced dance treatise of Fiorei, HEMA type thinking, with a Hollywoodesque twist for the crowds. Not perfect on any of the above, but together they represent a gritty representation of what it must have been like in the time of condottas. Noted condotierri would have had to prove themselves first in the tournies or the trials of strength. Their fame and renown increased the value of the condotta.
